Homemade Galette and Nerikiri Party

◇  You will make two Galette, thin pancakes made with buck wheat flour. Basic ingredients are bacon, cheese and a egg. They go well with either salty or sweet. 

〔 Examples of Galette Menue 〕

  • bacon + shimeji mushroom + cheese
  • honey + butter + fruits
  • paprika + spinach + cheese   and more.....

You can make with your favorite combination!!


◇ After enjoying galette lunch, you will have Nerikiri making experience! You will make two pieces of Nerikiri with Sakura design, representing the significant feature of spring in Japan. 

Taste one for a dessert and bring one back home.

※ An instructor will prepare and color Nerikiri dough in advance. You will start from the process of wrapping and forming the dough with specialized tools. 

 

◇ We will tell you the cherry blossom viewing spot nearby. If you have time, you can walk under cherry blossom trees.




■ Date:  April 2nd (Sat.) 11:30-14:00 + Cherry blossom viewing on your own


■ Venue: A share space near by the Sensoji Temple, Asakusa 

 - 4min. on foot from Tawaramachi Station, 田原町駅 (Tokyo Metro Ginza Line) 

 - 6min. on foot from Asakusa Station, 浅草駅 (Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Toei Asakusa Line, Tobu Skytree Line, etc ) 

 ※ I will send you an address when your reservation is confirmed. 


 ■ Participation Cost:  ¥3,000


 ■ Participants : Max. 10

  Class will be held in Japanese and/or English according to the language participants speak. 


 ■What to bring: an apron and a towel 

 If you are visitors and does not have these items with you, please let us know.
